If that means interacting with her will be less like trying to avoid being bitten by a feral animal, then I would almost say that's reason to celebrate. I'll be glad for you from afar.
Of course. And be assured your memory business won't be shared about by me -- I wouldn't want anyone doing likewise for me, after all. (Nothing of mine has passed your way, right?)
The camera blinks several times as Cecelia herself blinks following her incredulous outburst. As the image focuses, the frame shows a fair-faced, battleworn man.
"Yes." His tone is flat, almost emotionless -- his eyes weary and tinged with an old sadness that goes beyond his generally youthful visage.
The image wavers before Cecelia manages to speak again.
"But...she--how...how did she--with those demons...why would she...?"
As words fail to produce a proper sentence, the man looks down at the wedding band he holds between his fingers, letting her flounder without interruption until she eventually peters out. Then he looks back toward her, silent a beat longer before he moves, offering the ring out.
"It will be yours now."
"W-wh-wa-wh-whaaat?! I--" The camera shakes as she shakes her head vigorously, but all that movement and sound stops outright as his hand clasps hers, impressing the ring into her open palm.
"Keep it," he says, his tone still not shifting with any emotion. "And when you are in mortal danger, I will come to find you."
I would appreciate that very much, thank you. I hope this wasn't one of the grislier images? Regardless, keeping it out of the public would be greatly appreciated.
Whenever I was in mortal peril, yes? Yes, I remember. I suppose as far as memories go, that one isn't the most embarrassing. Just more disappointing in the end.
For all the times I have been in aforementioned mortal peril, he's only come once. Considering who and what he is, the separation of worlds wouldn't be an issue, so I assume his promise was a one-and-done.
He's an angel. A celestial being -- one unbound by the rules that keep anyone stuck in one world or the other. He had passed through physical planes before to save me, took me to the realm he hails from, all in the blink of an eye. He's traveled to hells untold, passed among mortal planes in disguise...a place like this would be no issue to him.

I'll let you know if it does.
((ooc: and if you would like to...I am open to this. We can even just continue this thread.))

I need to tell you that I have also seen one of your memories. I am sorry, I do not know how it happened.
[She's keeping this formal.]
I won't tell anyone what I saw. Promise.

It was a man giving you a ring.

A man you don't know, correct?

He said he would come find you.

I am really sorry he hasn't come to help you.
It's not as for sure, but, you know that if you're ever in mortal danger, just buzz me? I will come.

I'm no angel, but if you call, I will be there.

Please don't make broad promises like that.

Call, and I will come. But you have to call.
If you can't reach me, then yeah, something is up and I may be in a bad situation too. But still.
