[ It takes Catra a while to answer. She's a bit thrown by Adora's recent tendency to call her out on her behavior -- at home, she got so used to being able to get under Adora's skin easily with a few well-placed words. But it seems being away from the battlefield has done Adora well, made her regain her backbone.

That knocks Catra down hard from her perceived position of power and makes her feel insecure. At the same time, a grudging respect blooms in her; something different than anything she's felt for Adora before. She doesn't altogether like it. So much has changed lately, it's too much for her tastes.

Which, of course, means she's gotta double down on her meanness. ]
